Built-in Rewards System

Rewarding active community members on MAIN is a straightforward process. By replenishing your board's fund, determining the daily reward distribution, and setting content guidelines, you can easily incentivize your community. Here's how it works:

  • Fund Your Board: Start by adding tokens to your board's fund. The amount you add will be distributed as rewards to active participants.

  • Establish Daily Rewards: Specify the daily reward amount you want to distribute among your community members. This can be set according to your preferences.

  • Content Vector: Define the content direction you'd like to encourage within your community. Participants will align their contributions with this vector.

The rest is managed automatically by our reward system and community members. Here's how participants earn rewards:

  • Activity Points: Members gain activity points by posting, commenting, and rating content from others. The more active and engaging a user is, and the more positive ratings they receive from fellow participants, the higher their activity score.

  • Earning Rewards: A higher activity score means a member receives more rewards from the communal reward pool. Conversely, inactivity gradually diminishes previously earned activity points, resulting in reduced or no rewards.

  • Internal Donations (Rockets): To further incentivize community engagement, you can reward outstanding users with internal donations known as "rockets." Rockets not only provide additional rewards but also significantly boost a user's activity points, enabling them to earn even more rewards.

  • Content Control: Should you come across content that doesn't align with your community's guidelines, you have the option to block specific users. Blocked users are no longer eligible to receive rewards on your board, ensuring that rewards are allocated to contributors who add genuine value to the community.
